Apprenticeship: Packaging Technology Specialist (m/f/d)
Packmitteltechnologe. Sounds unusual at first? But it’s a job you come across all the time in everyday life. Because packaging is everywhere: for food, fashion, retail products, or cardboard solutions for special applications.
At WEROCA, you’ll learn how customized packaging is made from cardboard and paper. You’ll work on modern machines and be introduced step by step to setting up, operating, and monitoring production systems. Along the way, you’ll learn how materials, technology, and quality work together—and how an idea becomes a finished package.
WHAT DOES a Packaging Technologist (m/f/d) DO?
During your 3-year apprenticeship, you’ll learn how customized packaging is made from cardboard and paper. You’ll work on modern machines, help with setup and changeovers, and support production processes from the very beginning.
You’ll also gain insights into work preparation, quality control, and shipping. This way, you’ll understand how an idea becomes a finished package.
